Q: Does the Space Age hydraulic brake line cutter work with cable housing?
A: No, it does not. The Space Age cutter is specifically designed to cut hydraulic brake lines which are constructed of layers of plastic (and Kevlar in Jagwire’s case). The Space Age cutter produces nice clean cuts by using a thin and sharp blade. This blade could be damaged or dulled if it were used to cut through the steel strands or coils found in cable housing.
