Q: Does Jagwire produce carbon rim compatible brake pads?
A: No, Jagwire does not currently produce a carbon rim compatible brake compound. Carbon rims and how they are constructed vary greatly from manufacturer to manufacturer. This means there is little consistency in the braking surface and that makes it very difficult to produce a compound that will work well on all carbon braking surfaces. Our recommendation is to always contact the carbon rim manufacturer and ask them what compound they recommend for their rims.
